After Mexico implemented an aggressive path to achieve a cleaner energy matrix towards the year 2030, with 40% coming from renewable energy out of nearly 87 GW of installed capacity–, Greenova emerged as a one-stop shop, comprising technology selection, financial stimulation, technical integration expertise, and strategic management, typically complemented by leading O&M providers, development banks and private equity investors. 

 

At Greenova Investments LP, investment in self-sourced energy efficiency projects is subject to a comprehensive methodology to ensure projected energy savings from clients offer robust debt service coverage ratios throughout the life of the investments.

Energia Verde Distribuida (EVD), is Mexico's subsidiary of Greenova Investments LP in partnership with Qual Holding, the ESG private equity platform established by Alonso Quintana, member of an important EPC and concessioned-infrastructure group founded in 1947 who have long established themselves as civil engineering leaders in Latin America. EVD is a newly created company specialized in solar power investments, with a strong focus on sustainable infrastructure solutions, including core rooftop solar power and complementary energy efficiency solutions as LED-lighting and electric mobility, to private companies in Mexico. Our mission is to empower businesses to transition to clean energy and improve their environmental footprint. Our projects deliver financial and environmental tangible benefits for our clients as implied by net present value (NPV) and greenhouse gases (CO2) reduction.


Clifftop's Equity Stake: 50% 

Mexico-based solar power development company with a 142-hectares land bank located in Northwest Mexico, the core of the so-called "sun belt". Black Creek Helios (BCH) was incorporated by Clifftop Capital Management´s Founder Miguel A. Paredones, focusing on structuring and development of an up to 90 MW utility scale solar park located in a Mexican border State with the US that presents an average solar radiation factor of 7KWh/m2/day. 

At BCH, investment in proprietary renewable energy projects is subject to a rigorous evaluation for return on investment. We have teamed up with institutional investor Cascada Fund to ensure technology, engineering, and operations of solar power infrastructure is executed competitively and consistently with our long-term view on value aggregation.
